Clr Maybury is now serving his seventh term as a Councillor of Cessnock City Council.
Clr Maybury, who has lived in Weston since 1943, has a wife, Pat, two adult children and four grandchildren. He is now on a disability pension but in the past has worked in a range of positions including firefighting and coal mining.
