  • Draft Climate Change Policy to go on public exhibition
    In an effort to address the changing climate affecting the Cessnock Local Government Area, Council has developed a draft Climate Change Policy. The community are encouraged to provide feedback on the Policy during the public exhibition period. The draft Climate Change Policy will be on public exhibition from the 26 February until the 25 March 2020.

Membership

Membership of CYCOS is open to all young people in the Cessnock Local Government Area who are aged between 12 and 24 years.

To become a member, all you need to do is complete the CYCOS Membership Form which can be downloaded here and have it signed by your parent or guardian if you are under the age of 18.

Simply bring your completed form along with you to CYCOS.

CYCOS does not discriminate and welcomes members from all walks of life. Cessnock Youth Centre & Outreach Service aims to be a safe and accessible place for all young people regardless of gender, sexuality, race, religion, background, abilities, political view, culture or language. CYCOS celebrates the rich diversity that is youth culture.

 CYCOS is an accessible and inclusive space. accessible entrance is via the ramp from turner park car park to front entry of the building. Accessible toilets are located inside the youth centre.
