59/2019/2 - Draft Community Participation Plan
At the Ordinary Meeting of Cessnock City Council on 18 September 2019 Council resolved to place the Draft Community Participation Plan (Draft CPP) on public exhibition.
The intent of the Draft CPP is to make it easier for the community to understand when they can get involved in planning matters. It provides guidance on how the community can have a say on the different types of planning matters for which Council is the Planning Authority. The Draft CPP only applies to matters legislated by the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
The Draft Community Participation Plan is on public exhibition for a period of 28 days from 2 October 2019 until 31 October 2019.
Hard copies can be viewed at the following locations:
- Council’s Administration Building; and
- Council’s Public Libraries.
