18/2015/7/1 - 1443 Wine Country Drive, Rothbury

On 27 April 2016 the NSW Department of Planning and Environment issued a Gateway determination enabling  Council to place the Planning Proposal, 18/2015/7 – 1443 Wine Country Drive, Rothbury on exhibition for a minimum period of 14 days.  This is consistent with Council’s resolution to proceed with the Proposal at its Ordinary Meeting held 16 March 2016.

The Planning Proposal and Draft Planning Agreement apply to land at Lot 11 DP 1105639, known as 1443 Wine Country Drive, Rothbury (‘the Land’).

The aim of the Planning Proposal is to ensure that the zoning of the Land reflects the desired future character of land in the immediate area, which was rezoned R5 Large Lot Residential as a component of the ‘Huntlee New Town’ State Significant Development.

A Draft Planning Agreement has been prepared in association with the Planning Proposal. The objective of the Draft Planning Agreement is to provide suitable funding for various public facilities to meet the demand generated by future development on the Land.

The Planning Proposal and Draft Planning Agreement are on public exhibition from 15 March 2017 and 12 April 2017. Copies of the Planning Proposal, Draft Planning Agreement and associated documents are listed below:

Any person may make a written submission in relation to the Planning Proposal or Draft Planning Agreement. Any views expressed in written submissions will be considered by Council before a final decision is made on whether or not the Draft Plan should be made. 

In order to be considered by Council, submissions must be received by 5.00pm on 12 April 2017 and should quote ‘18/2015/7 – 1443 Wine Country Drive, Rothbury’.  Submissions should be addressed to The General Manager and can be submitted via email or post.
