Draft Community Strategic Plan, Draft 2017-21 Delivery Program, Draft 2017-18 Operational Plan & Budget
At its meeting of 3 May 2017 Council resolved to place the draft Community Strategic Plan - Cessnock 2027, draft 2017-21 Delivery Program, draft 2017-18 Operational Plan and draft Resourcing Strategy on public exhibition from Wednesday 10 May 2017 to Wednesday 7 June 2017.
The draft documents will be placed on public exhibition for 28 days in order to seek public comment, as required by sections 402, 404 and 405 of the Local Government Act, 1993.
The draft Community Strategic Plan - Cessnock 2027 describes the community’s aspirations for the area, while the draft 2017-21 Delivery Program outlines how Council will contribute to making the community’s vision a reality. The draft Resourcing Strategy describes the elements (assets, financial and workforce) that will support the draft Delivery Program. While the draft 2017-18 Operational Plan details Council’s proposed activities for 2017-18 including the draft budget, as well as Council’s proposed Revenue Policy and Schedule of Fees and Charges for 2017-18.

Written submissions on the draft documents should be addressed to the General Manager and will be accepted up until 5.00 pm Wednesday, 7 June 2017.
Full copies of submissions (including petitions) may be made available to the public including your name and address, unless Council receives a request for personal details to be suppressed.
