important part of being a responsible pet owner is to ensure they are
microchipped. We know how hard it is when your best mate ends up missing, but
it certainly makes it a lot harder to locate the owner of a lost cat or dog
when they aren’t microchipped.
you know a dog must be microchipped by 12 weeks of age, at point of sale or
when they are given away in order to comply with the law?
order to help ensure your furry friend is microchipped and not flouting the
rules Council’s Ranger team are once again putting on a FREE microchipping
event for dogs.
It’s bigger and better than last year as we are holding Microchipping Month of May. Residents wanting to get their pet microchipped should schedule in a Thursday afternoon during May.
