Come and check out the Job Guide, the TAFE handbook, type up your resume on our computers, photocopy (25 cents per page) and use the internet for free to search for jobs!
We have many copies of the RTA Handbook available for loan. You can also access the internet to do the practice test for free!
The Library has a special collection called “LIAC” (Legal Information Access Centre). You can get all sorts of legal information in easy-to-read language.
The Library has lots of books/DVDs that you can borrow on a range of mental health issues.
The Library has numerous resources with information on drugs, alcohol, sexual health and parenting (and nearly anything else you may find interesting).
Drug info at your library - We have a special collection of drug information items as part of the community drug information strategy developed as a result of the Drug Summit in 1999. The collection is to help the community be more informed about these important aspects of life.
Being happy with yourself, your studies and endeavours and having smooth, easy-going relationships with parents, friends and partners isn’t as easy as some people make it seem. The Library has plenty of space for you to come in, to just sit and think, to read books and magazines while listening to your headphones, or to use the internet. Take some time out!
