February 14th is Library Lovers Day and the launch of the National Year of Reading! Come along to Cessnock or Kurri Kurri libraries to participate in one of the competitions or events that will be running. There is a short story competition for adults and children, a colouring competition, and a 'matching' competition featuring famous literary couples.
Library Lovers Day will also be celebrated with a free morning tea on Tuesday 14th February at 10am at both Cessnock and Kurri Kurri Libraries. Competition prize winners will be announced at the morning tea. Both the competitions and the morning tea are open to all, please contact your local library for more details.

Cessnock Library will be running a number of classes in 2012 for seniors who would like to improve their internet and computer use skills. Classes run on the last Thursday of every month and places are strictly limited to ensure all participants have access to a computer.
