Circus Workshops with Circus Avalon
Circus Avalon has been running for more than 20 years, with the last decade spent in Newcastle. During that time, it has evolved from a performing adult community group to a training circus for both adults and youth.
Avalon Trainers have taught in over 100 different schools, and performed at events including the Woodford Festival, the National Folk Festival, the National Circus Festival and many smaller events. 
Sessions will normally involve running games, a warm up and then group balances. Then participants work with whatever equipment they like for the remainder of the sessions - unicycling, juggling, trapeze, hoops, diablo, devil sticks, cigar boxes, balancing chair, rings, ...
